Keanu // 2023 Senior // Lincoln, NE

My session with Keanu last summer was so much fun! Keanu wanted to have more of an urban/city feel to her photos but also wanted a few with green grass and more nature too. I think we nailed it. We started off in Lincoln at a parking garage and then gradually moved into more of the downtown area where there were plenty of great photo ops. The thing I love discovering about towns is the old buildings and uniqueness to them all. Brick walls that are slowly starting to crumble, layering paint starting to peel, cracks in the concrete.. these fun spots create such an awesome texture and dimension to the photo while creating shapes, lines, and spaces to the composition.

After we finished downtown, we soon made our way to the country… but not like cornfield country. More like ponds and bridges and white rock paths to walk on kind of country. The water was so still and the sun was just starting to go behind the trees really giving Keanu this golden glowing look to her photos! It was a great end to our day!
